Countless many times documented and described, but never before seen on photo! 28 years ago a small boy saw his first Bugatti during a holiday. It was his father who took him to the no more existing Bec Hellouin motor museum. The father was not specifically interested in cars or in Bugatti's and the boy neither, back then. Just nice to see a few old cars. The father obviously had no idea to which terrible influences he exposed his son. Obviously the M-virus felt the weak spot on the unblemished soul of the young Jaap Horst and made a leap for it. Many years past by and the young Jaap seemed to develop a no more then average interest for vintage cars and Molsheim products. All cool, nothing wrong. Until 27 February 1995 - now 10 years back. Finally the beast came out. It was the day Jaap ( to insiders known as >> "[email protected]" ) got hooked to the world wide web. He was among the very first to upload his Bugatti mania on the web. The Bugatti Pages were born. 10 years ago! Like us you probably had not heard about the computer network back then. Congratulations Jaap! You have changed the face of the vintage world !
