Sixties Stutz.

Sometimes it is more easy to date the photo than the car, which of course is not true. Yet the atmosphere of the photo, the de-colorisation, the rounded corners , the clothing and the hat of the driver, it is all very 1958-62-ish. Now about the make of car we have no doubts: Stutz! safety Stutz. Unfortunately the photo doesn't give away enough detail to pinpoint the car with the American car Spotters Guide. So we have to leave it at 1926-1929-ish. The good news is that beyond any doubt within days -more likeley within hours- from know somebody will show up and say soemthing like: "Why didn't you count the spokes? "After '27 they had 64 spokes and after '29 they went back back to 54. So...!" OK, we'll see and yes, we didn't count the spokes. (photo collection editor; click for detail)
