Pre-war subwoofers or tweeters?

We can see new ads coming in and immediately I check the "preview" mode with every single add. Sorry for being nosy.... but that's my job. And then I saw this odd formed metal 'loud-speakers'. Just like they used to have on race tracks and stadiums in the old days. Maybe a nice set of accesoires for these real Radios (clic) (PlasticRadios.com). Or these monumental ones (clic) (IndianaRadios.com). Of course our alloy trumpets are no speakers at all, just but very subtile sidelights. According to seller Kees Koster, who has a nose for interesting stuff (clic) these were meant for twenties cyclecars and made by GJ of Paris. We don't agree on the age. We think the rectangular shape means that they are a bit older. In our view they would be more appropriate on the fenders of an elegant Landaulette or comparable machinery. Anybody ever has seen these nice lights before? Please write to [email protected]. (photo Kees Koster; clic to check advert)

P.S. Now 3 FREE photo ads for new registrants at PreWarParts. Clic here to register. Same offer applies for earlier registrants who had no free listings before.
