People of our age should all know the sixties hit 'Oh Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes-Benz.' That this wish is much older is proven by a Edwardian MB advertising illustration. I't as if this flapper girl is holding her lover or at least is enjoying a tango with the car she lost her heart to. The car has a strong resemblance to the Mercedes-Knight introduced in 1910.
