Despite gathering clouds...!

by Bas 'haunted saloon' de Voogd: Despite the gathering clouds above the MG-Rover future the sun was out prominently at the Brooklands Track last Sunday! Picture showing Paul Campbell pushing his ex-police MG VA tourer up Brooklands' testhill last Sunday. Unfortunately the run was not timed....as the man at the top was waving his flag vigouresly to slow him down which does say enough about Peter's speed. The tests were part of a meeting of the MG Car Club's SVW Register at the Brooklands Track. Talk of the day was the new art deco style SVW Register website which was launched some days ago. Maybe the current adversities are the last 'test hill' for the proud marque and is an MG future still feasible. (photo by Pamela Wilson of Springer Sisters Classic Transport)
