Seller's Notes:"This car came to France during the war years. In 1945 it came into the possesion of the minester of foreign affairs. The restoration took 10 years after which the car was udesd during various tour-rallies. The lefthand drive car is a pleasure to drive and feels more solid than for instance a Delahaye 135 MS. This 540 K was completely restored by a reputable German specialist and did only a few careful miles since. Based on a B-Convertible the car was carefully rebuild to become a Special-Roadster over a period of 8 years. The condition can only be described as concours!
The car has spend its whole life in Scandinavia and has a complete history concerning its previous owners. From the 60's until the 90's it was part of a museum and recommis-sioned afterwards: new paintwork, new interior and engine rebuild (5000 km since).
