Brass Acetylene Generator, Austrian - Running board mounted type, rectangular brass body with maker's plate marked, 'Lanternen fur Motorfahrzeuge - Friedrich Weichmanns Witwe' from Vienna. With caps, taps, handle. In superb condition but one minor repair to the tap mechanism. Overall measurements 9" x 5" x 11" 

Acetylene generator for car or commercial lights. I can't identify a maker but it has London on the base, together with the part nos 466 & 1233.
