Peter Ransom of Brisbane writes: "The car in the centre is almost certainly a Sunbeam 12/16(www.Sunbeam.org.au). Electric lighting suggests it's a late (1914) Sunbeam manufactured car or possibly one of the 1500 or so that Rover built as staff & service cars during the war while Sunbeam were busy manufacturing aircraft and airship engines."
EARLIER TEXT: This photo is part of a very neat collection of photos that was sent to us from Switzerland. The collection tells an unknown story about the numerous journeys of a most likely (British?) family during the pre WW I years. Especially one British licensed Daimler is seen at many places all over Europe. We will come back later on that particular car. This not very well detailed shot is made during a winter tour (Jura?). When you click the photo you'll get an enlargement. Note the "big brown bears" and maybe you can tell us something about the car in the middle. Please send your sugestions to [email protected]. When questions like that are too simpel for you and you have a few minutes left, you may describe the one or two other cars that are to be seen at this Ebay auction. (photo collection editor)
