A Record Breaker from Morgan

Many motor manufacturers can claim 70 years of continuous production, but only the Morgan Motor Company can make this claim with the same model. The first Morgan 4/4 was launched in 1936 and over the years nearly 10.000 4/4’s were produced. To celebrate these 70 years of continuous production Morgan announced that they will build 142 cars - two for every year of its production life - each one individually marked with the year it honours. They will be finished in period style, with standard specification of fold flat windscreen, vintage dashboard, sheepskin bonnet strap and drilled steel wheels with chrome hub caps. A strong galvanised steel chassis carries coachbuilt bodywork of aluminium panels over an ash frame, built to the same tradition as the 1930s.
