Wanted: MG F1 Magna or L1 Rolling Chassis / Project for Original 4-Seater Tourer Restoration

Hi everyone,

I have recently acquired an exceptionally solid, original MG 4-seater open tourer body (94-inch wheelbase) with an intact, healthy ash frame and original metal panels. This body has spent the last few decades well-protected on a modified chassis and is now looking to be reunited with its correct 6-cylinder running gear.

To bring this beautiful piece of pre-war MG history back on the road, I am looking for:

• A rolling chassis or project of an MG F1 Magna or L1 (94" wheelbase)

• A bare original chassis frame, axles, steering gear, and 8" or 12" brakes

• An unsupercharged 6-cylinder OHC engine block (1271 ccm) or related drivetrain parts

• An abandoned restoration project or a donor car with a ruined/missing body

About me: I am an experienced fabricator and classic car and motorcycle builder. The craftsmanship, tools, and dedication required for a high-quality pre-war build are fully available.
