1939 Beetle

As we all know the plans for the Volkswagen were made before 1940. We also know that a few cars were being built but never made their way to 'das Volk'. The brochures did. This one is up for auction next Saturday in the Carl Benz Museum in Ladenburg, Germany. (picture courtesy Autotechnik Auktion)
