Your extra chance to participate in the Targa Poschiavo in the Swiss Alps

With summer in full swing and the roofs of our cars open, many rallies and tours have already taken place and many more are still to happen. The PreWarCar.com team has been among those enthusiastically eating up many miles of Tarmac. Most organized events are already fully-booked and the registration deadlines have expired, but one of the events which interests us particularly is the Targa Poschiavo in St. Moritz, Switzerland, which will be held from 9th to 11th September 2023. The deadline for entries has also already expired, so why should we be telling you this? Well, we, as a partner of the event, have reserved five entries specially for friends of PreWarCar.com.

We ourselves are participating with two cars and will, of course, report from the rally on our website but we hope you will also take part. The entry fee is €1500, which is excellent value considering all that you get for your money. It does not include hotels and fuel, but it does include access to all stops en route and dinner at a great location where the film Heidi was shot. Highly recommended.

To participate, please contact us ([email protected] or leave a comment below) before 14th August and tell us which car you want to participate in, and we will send you the registration form. Participation is open to all cars built before 1945, with an emphasis on cars from before 1926.

10:00 am: Airport Samedan fly-in, demonstration of historic aeroplanes 
11:10 am: Restart at the Airport
12:00-1:15 pm: Lunch at Albula Hospiz (Albula Pass)
1:40 pm: Bergün Filisur
2:00 pm: Tiefencastel
3:00 pm: Julier Pass
3:30 pm: Finish Line, Welcome drink at Kempinski hotel, St. Moritz
5:00-5:30 pm: Parking at Lake Sils, Land-Rover shuttle to Grevasalvas
5:15-9:00 pm: Dinner at Grevasalvas (the Heidi village)
