Great bit of film - Bill Boddy in his History of Brooklands comments that she so enjoyed the Talbot that she continued motoring after the finish line and had to be called in and told off by the officials. She was an extremely wild lady, best known for her exploits as a speedway motorcyclist.
Fay Taylour was the owner, in the late 1930's of the 1925 Salmson Twin Cam Grand Sport YL 2328 which I own , and with which I have covered over 65,000 miles since 1984. I have never found any evidence that Fay competed with my car and wonder whether anyone else has come across any photos or other snippets relating to Fay's time with YL 2328? Sadly she passed away before I was involved with the car so had no opportunity to ask her.
