There are multiple ways to drive a (pre-war) car. This is of course also an option... Why not drive on the fenders of the car? We must admit that we are happy this Ford is not moving but stands still on the side of the road. Otherwise, it would have been a little bit dangerous.
However, we do like this black and white photograph and thought it would be good fun to recreate this image! So, are you the owner of a similar car? Invite two ladies. It does not matter who they are as long as they are a little photogenic: your wife, daughter, lady friend, neighbour, or just a happy passer-by. Let them carefully take place on the fenders and take a photograph with your mobile phone or a camera. Then there is one more thing you should do. Well, that is not entirely true. First help the ladies to get with both feet on the ground and of course thank them for their assistance.
Finally, upload your photo(s) below to share them with other PreWarCar enthusiasts! We very much look forward to seeing them.
Have a good weekend everyone!
I have been working on the 1924 Chummy during winther, after my brother Bo, gave it to me last year.
We picked the car up in UK near Brighton nine years ago and had a great experience driving it back to Denmark, through all the smallest villages where you are not in the way all the time, due to a low maximum speed.
A good idea for people that always are in a hurry....you tune in and have a party driving s l o w .
