Whoops…
This certainly does not look good.
We see here the remains of two cars… The accident occurred on Granville Street South at the junction with Connaught Drive (29th Ave). What do you think happened here in 1914?
Please take care when you go out today – it is Friday the 13th...in 2020...

Some how these two RHD cars, one of which is a Cadillac, met head on in the middle of the road. It is probably due to incidents like this that we have lines down the centre to let road hogs know where they should be. In the second photo you can see the back end of a roadster which says Municipality of Point Grey on the gas tank. I looked the plate number up in the archives and it is a McLaughlin.

This is an early example of what happens when you have left hand rive and right hand drive cars on the same roads

An obvious case of distracted driving, typewriting while driving.

Car on the right is 1914 Model T Ford that looks pretty new with shiny paint and clean white tires. One on the left is a few years older.

An early attempt at self-driving horseless carriages. The man monitoring the test lost his bowler hat in the fracas and swallowed the tobacco he was chewing.

I think the drivers were distracted by their smartphones ;-)

No drivers? No drivers! Must be one of the very early Tesla tests! As you can see, no drivers needed.
regards from Thomas from Tyrol. Take care but not only on Friday the 13th.

This happened in South Vancouver on a nice clear straight road. I hope no one died.
