Which car is this? Maybe you can help us...

Look at this lovely old photograph. Two people, who look like a couple, sitting in a car. It looks like they just left the house. Maybe it is their house, but we do not know this for sure. Before departure, they pose for a photographer. They are both rather....

Gentlemen, the body style as such can be found on cars from various manufacturers, of course.

Hence we need to concentrate on the distinctive features of the car in question: the slanted louvres, the shape of the radiator housing and the badge mounted to it.

All these features are perfectly consistent with an Opel from 1913/14, but not with contemporary Stutzes, Fiats etc.

As for the suggested Fiat Tipo B2: The radiator housing would look different from this perspective (more pear-shaped) and the badge would not protrude like the rather massive Opel "eye". Just take a close look at the radiators of early Fiats and you'll notice the difference.

That Fiat is a good guess, as it rather similar to this Fiat 2B http://www.vintagedrivingmachines.com/1916-Fiat-2B-For-Sale-?ad_id=2145652720

But it would be good to know in which country the couple was photographed with their car before making suggestions?

If it's from Holland, maybe an Opel or some French marque would have been more likely, I imagine? Here in Finland, in 1910's, Opel was possibly the most popular car brand, but Fiat came close.

Looking for details, Fiats had first wooden spoke rims and soon after - atleast by 1919 when 501 was introduced - beaded edge Sankeys, but perhaps those wires could have been added later? The straight up -shape of the windscreen and low body remind of a 501-503-509 spider, but the bonnet and chassis is probably longer and the louvers look different, just like Opel had, see http://www.opelmodellautos.de/html/1910_-_1924.html

But then, if one insists it was a French car? Some how I think the setting with a castle, well dressed couple and official feeling of what seems to be a wedding photo (do I see flowers in front of the bride there?) lead us to more upper class circles driving with a rather expensive French sports car, if not new anymore? How about, if I will suggest that it is a Lorraine-Deitrich, if I google those I will find many similar shapes and details.

Hard to say, really! Off-topic, but I am in the beginning of making a similar looking body to my remains of a 1925 Fiat 501 chassis. I will not spoil it's history, as according to Fiat Centro Storico my car was delivered as a bare chassis only and I found it without any coachwork. Luckily, I have now in loan all the original wooden parts of this Antero Flander's 501 as templates to my woodwork: http://www.prewarcar.com/magazine/previous-features/60-years-after-the-hunt-002701.html

Gas lighting and coarse louvers tell us it's not a '20s Stutz.

I strongly agree with Ariejan's suggestion - this car looks very much like an Opel 8/30 h.p. 2-seater from 1913/14.

It featured the slanted bonnet louvres that were typical of pre-WW1 Opels. Also, the slope of the front part of the body is very much consistent with an Opel rather than a Stutz Bearcat.

However, I would rule out a production date later than 1914, since postwar Opels used to have v-shaped radiators and were equipped with electrical lighting, to the best of my knowledge.

The photo as such might have been taken after the war, of course.

The car is a rather rare 8/30 PS Opel Spezial-Renntyp or Sportwagen (as it was also called). Slightly different from the 1913 model (when it had a visible fuel tank behind the seats)and some other small differences I suspect it to be a 1914 (or maybe even just post-war) model.
