Today is the first day of winter in the Northern Hemisphere (according to the astronomical calendar). It’s marked by the Winter Solstice, which occurs today Tuesday 21 December 2021 at 15:59 UTC. As it is also the shortest day of the year, we thought we would share this cold and wintery scene from ‘Barkerville by moonlight in snow’ with you.
