Waiting to pounce on us

H&H Classic Auction always seem to find the kind of cars we fall in love with. How about this amazing 1939 Jaguar SS of which just 1087 seem to have been made? This Jaguar was originally registered in London, but later moved to the Sarasota Car museum in Florida. Although it is described as a running restoration project, the 3.5 litre engine starts easily and the stylish saloon looks remarkably well from the outside. It has been repainted white at some stage, but it still sports the original (but used) red leather seats. It will be auctioned on July 25 and it is estimated to sell at around 20,000 to 25,000 pounds. So what are we waiting for? Check their lot 50! (photo’s courtesy H&H). (RB)
