Sick of lining up at gasstations ?

You may have heard of the pre-war rallye in Ethiopia next year November. And it may have sound like a long shot to you. But it's getting closer and it's getting real. Details are settled so far that a tanker truck will follow the rally to prevent gas shortage. Which is welcome news unless you were planning to  bring a prewar diesel... (Peugeot, Mercedes or Lagonda Gardner...any more candidates?) as diesel is plenty available.
If you like to discuss more in depth the various aspects of rallying in Ethiopia, this will be an extra motive to visit Auto Moto d'Epoca in Padua next weekend. Organiser Bart Kleijn is to be found at the stand of Luzzago . A few things Bart Kleijn can assure you about beforehand beside the fuel situation. The government fully agrees and will support the rallye.  The roads are quit good and very quiet. The tunnels and bridges were built by Italians before WWII, the asphalt is fresh and laid out by the Chinese... The next move will be up to you.
