To be prewar or not to be prewar. (UPDATE II: early or mid thirties ?)

Yesterday a rather interesting chassis has been listed in the parts section. Talbot Lago experts should click the photo to go deeper into the construction details of the chassis to determine what vintage it is (also click for a full view). What is the trick? Counting the drillings? Check the shock absorber fittings? Measure the size of the brake drums? We are all ears for the true TL experts...Contact JB. Next question of course is, what kind of coachwork once was fitted to this set of chassis rails? A bland sedan? Or one of the masterpieces by - what the Americans lovingly call - the coachbuilding firm 'Fony & Flashy'. in this respect be sure to check the amazing website of www.decorides.com
UPDATE II by Brian Jopseph:"The Talbot Lago T150CSS chassis has independent front suspension. The brake drums are cast not stamped. I doubt this chassis is late thirties. It looks to be early or mid thirties."
UPDATE by Branislav who sends an eyebrowing raising questionmark :"Looks more Hotchkiss than Lago to me. Did the Lago not have independent front suspension?"
