The Walter Miller Mysteries, Part VI (update: 1931 Isotta Fraschini Tipo 8A SS)

Probably easy for you and we wouldn't be surprised if it's a survivor, or? One wouldn't be surprised if this fabulous bodied roadster is a .......? It's the sheer size of the radiator that makes us think so. It can't be a ....... with a body like that, don't you think? No that same big, fat, flat faced high polished cooler points in another direction. We have our ideas and quite precise to be honest. But we like to keep up the activity in your gray cells as well. What are your thoughts?

UPDATE by editor: Massive response on this well known car: 1931 Isotta Fraschini Tipo 8A SS chassis #1681 "Flying Star" made by Carrozzeria Touring. You will find many photos of the car in current condition at Just A Car Guy. If we would be the owner we would consider a chat with the restorer. The original looks so much better in balance. The front wings shouldn't be cut off brutally at the front. The seats stick out in an awkward way disturbing the flow of the body. Headlights should be higher up.Throw away that horrible new front bumper. Should be way-way more 'petit' and chrome/nickle, not painted. Well at least it learns how important old photos are...

agree with the bumper,,, the old photo looks like one of those springy type things,, quite handy when you have a ten foot long bonnet and can barely see over the dashboard i would have thought;)
