The Pretty Shoes Mystery (Update: Peugeot 172 Quadrilette)

One of our daily visitors is Jochen Thoma from Munich, Germany. He came up with this photo that he found in a long-forgotten album. The picture of this spiffy small sports car was most probably taken in Germany, somewhere early 1920s? Jochen writes that he knows almost all German cars, but that he can't identify this one. There's indeed not much to go on. It looks as if it has 4 wheel brakes, but we're not sure if these are just wheel hubs or small brake drums. The eagle (?) hood ornament is probably an aftermarket accessory so that won't be of much help too. Maybe the shape of the bonnet and radiator can be a clue? Contact us!
