Imagine a stunning Baroque Castle built in 1742 by Kurfürst Carl Theodor. Imagine the castle’s garden park that is one of the most impressive in Europe and a candidate for the Unesco world cultural heritage. Imagine this spacious park filled with 160 antique and classic cars from all over Europe. Add an orchestra playing classical music. Also add several bands playing Jazz and Ragtime. Then you’re beginning to get the feeling of the general relaxed atmosphere that makes the Concours d’Elegance in Schwetzingen stand out as a very special event. But there’s even more… to celebrate eighty years of Volvo in Germany, there will be a huge display of nearly the full range of Volvo cars, starting with the 1927 OV4 “Jacob”, continuing with the “831”, the famous “Carioca” and so on until the latest Volvo prototypes.
