Recall of all Mercers!

2009 will be a centennial year for many marques. Audi, Bugatti and Morgan being just a few that spring to mind. But automobiles no longer in production are not forgotten either. Take for instance the Mercer. Although the first one appeared in 1910, the Mercer Automobile Company was founded in 1909 by Ferdinand Roebling and Charles Roebling along with Anthony Kuser. From July 10 to 12, 2009 a reunion of all Mercers is planned in Roebling, New Jersey. Roebling is a town designed and built by Charles Roebling in 1903 to house the workers for the Roebling & Sons steel plant. One of the festivities on Saturday will be a parade during The Florence Township Patriotic Day festivities. Sunday will see the Mercer Centennial Reunion and Car Show held at the Roebling Museum featuring the "Mercer Magic" Exhibit. All Mercers are invited! More information at the Mercer Yahoo Group.
