Mystery Monday: 5 photo's, many questions....

Lets start the week with a mystery.

Rob Neill is trying to find out about the make & model of five cars that are in photographs at Snowshill Manor, Gloucestershire, National Trust property. What he knows about them: "Charles Wade was a non-driver who lived at Snowshill Manor in the Cotswolds & also owned property on St. Kitts in the Caribbean. His friends would take him out in their cars & we have these five photograhs of vehicles."

This looks like an easy one. You can probably tell us more about all the 5 cars. But we hope you can tell us more: Like can you also identify the date that the photographs are made? And what breed is the horse that you see on the first photo? In what occasion are the photographs shot? Who are the persons on the photo?

We hope that you can give us answers. But if you have more questions as well, please leave them in a comment.
Have a good week everyone!

Thank you everyone. I thought I had got the Austin & Morris correct but would never have got the BSA. Knew, or had pretty good idea, that two were American automobiles but your confirmation of their details very helpful. We can now add this information to our archives and to the public 'Collections' part of the National Trust website. All your help is much appreciated.

Of course I meant louvres not louvred. Predictive I-pad thinks it knows better than I do.

John Robins is correct: the first car is a 10hp BSA. The third car is an Austin Eight, and as the registration is not an English one this photo is presumably taken in St Kitts.

I think I may have found the louvred on a 1934 BSA Ten Drophead Coupé by Tickford.

Car 3 is an Austin 8 or possibly 10. Both models are very similar in design, but the 10 is bigger and has a split rear window. They were introduced in 1939, and production restarted after WW2 for two ore three seasons.

Car 5 is a 1937 Morris Eight Series II saloon. The two large cars escape me completely, American?

Those bonnet louvred on the coupé must be a clue for someone, Singer?

I haven't worked out the main picture but the four along the bottom are a 1926 Chrysler 70, an Austin 8, a 1934 Pontiac and a 1936 Morris 8.

The sedan bottom left is probably a 1926 Chrysler Sedan - Model 70; next is a Hillman, then a 1934 Pontiac Sedan, 8 cyl- the last one is a British car, make unknown to me.
