A Langenthal mystery body?

Philip A. sends photos of an unidentified two door 4 seat convertible body with windowframes that fold down when windows are cranking down. Front and rear window can be cranked individual.

Doors open suicide ways, the soft-top is springloaded and stows under the steel-lid completly. There are also foldable steelpanels that cover the topframe-slot's on both sides. Philip has reason to believe it was built by "Carrosserie Langenthal of Switzerland" (possibly at the still existing firm Calag). At least 3 different colors where found, with the last silver layer which was only sprayed for Show purpose. It will be hard, but wouldn't it be wonderful to trace back which car it ever sat on?

Coachbuild queried the picture (shown on the forum) and said that it seemed to be a Photoshopped version of the photo of the car printed in The Derby Phantoms book. "Perhaps the photo shown is what the new owner wanted his car to look like?"
Maybe this is what Langenthal was trying to produce.

Acording to this: www.coachbuild.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=218&t=1558 forum thread, it seems as if it may be a Rolls Royce Phantom 2 H J Mulliner body.

Having sold dozens of swiss bodied cars I would say this is most probably a swiss coachwork, but for sure not Graber.
Langenthal is really possible, looking at the door fittings.
Try to visit the Swiss Car Register in Effretikon near Zurich. They have recently receive the whole archives from carrosserie Langenthal.
