Mercedes Erdman & Rossi mystery? (upd. armoured 60 HP Mercedes)

Anton van Luijk found this photo of an extraordinary tourer which apparently has been captured by the French after WW I. He writes: "Not 100% sure if it's really a Mercedes, but that's written on the photo. The photo dates somewhere between 1914 en 1918."

Editor: It certainly looks like a pre-WWI 10/20HP. But we think the sort of streamlined coachwork with enclosed rear wheels and long 'trunk' (very unusual of that era) is even more intriguing. Is this Erdmann & Rossi extravaganza?
