These days, these weeks, this month and probably a little longer Emily Anderson is driving coast to coast in a 1909 Maxwell tourer. This to remember Alice Ramsey who was the first woman to fullfill this super driveout 100 years back. Emily left 10 days back in a pouring rain from Broadway New York and is heading west ever since. Aside the fact that the roads are much better now, there is one big difference between the original coast tot coast drive and the ventennila version. Alice drove a brandnew Maxwell. Emily one that is 99 years past its warranty... After the rain had dried up and small problems were past her, deep down in the engine compartment a nasty clunk started to develop... and the Richardsons learned about the charms of roadside babbitting...
