Did you get on the plane, took the car or came by train with your spouse for a romantic valentine’s week(end) in Paris? Or did you visit Salon Rétromobile at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles to see some amazing cars? The weather made it for some people quite a challenging journey. Which might have taken a little bit longer than first planned. But how romantic, Paris in the snow! This time no heels but snow boots.

But as we are talking about 'pre-war love' let`s talk about impressive cars. Walking over the red carpet along the large very professional stalls, and the cozier small-scale boots that were present. Dreaming away by seeing a wide variety of both old and new cars. The perfect Concours car, a truly original car, inventive electric cars or ones to go around the track. But also motorcycles, parts, that one book that was still missing in your collection and clothing. Something for everyone.

We enjoyed the many pre-war cars that were on show. The perfect valentine’s car we found at the stand of our friends from Spain: Coupe - Fransisco Pueche. They had a beautiful, red Renault CE. Earlier we saw a photo of the car in black and white in the prewarcar.com marketplace but when we saw the car on their stand, among all other pre-war cars; we fell in love with it. And we dreamed away... driving the car along the Seine with our lover. As it is possible to take the whole upper part of the body off, we can do this not only on valentine's day but also in the warm summer months. What a fantastic car.

Many other pre-war cars were on the show, from the little Peugeot at Vintage and Prestige to a mighty Bentley at William I'Anson. Well, the photos will speak for themselves.

Most business was done during the week, and the deals were made before Friday afternoon. Were during the weekend families with children on shoulders made their way through the live size pedal cars.

We wish you and your beloved one a very good day of driving together down the Seine (or any other track you are taking).
