Over the years the Glenmoor Gathering Concours d'Elegance has become known for an outstanding display of beautiful automobiles. This year will be no exception with displays of the 1935 Duesenberg SJ Mormon Meteor; a 1938 Horch 853 phaeton and the Parfet Mercedes-Benz among many others. But apart from the cars there are also several special events of which the presentation of remarkable scale models is only one. Among many others there's this unbelievable hand-built 1/6 scale 1932 Duesenberg SJ made by Louis Chenot that took him 10 years or 20,000 hours to build. Check its running engine (YouTube)! And the show is not for adults only, as more than 100 youngsters- and their dads- will build snap-together plastic models during the show. Now, that's an idea we really like!
