Crocodile Dundee’s Austin Seven

If we were to think of Australian things, we could easily get stuck on stereotypical stuff like kangaroos, koalas, crocodiles, boomerangs, the bush, barbecues, utes, Ugg boots and Uluru (although you may know the latter better as Ayers Rock).

But where else would you find a PreWarCar with crocodiles incorporated in its upholstery? Okay, perhaps Pebble Beach, but our bet would definitely be down under. And here you go. The chaps on the Austin 7 Chummy "Aussie" Facebook page spotted this lovely Seven at a show in Winton some years ago but we only saw these pictures last week and wanted to share them here. The post added, “There was a display of a lot of Austin Sevens including a real supercharged Ulster. Well done to the Victorian Austin 7 Club.”

Could these baby crocs have been a part of the car’s original upholstery? If so, we’re certain there’s a nice story attached to it. We’d love to hear from you, wherever you are.
