This weekend  "Es geht los! " at the Nürburgring. Both at the notorious Nordschleife as at the no less infamous GP circuit some 1000 (!) classic and sportcars are expected to show their virtues and strength in about every form of vintage and classic racing. The Eifelrennen goes back to 1922, when it was still an open road race, until the Nürburgring was opened for a the first trackrace in '27. The current 'revival' form of the Eifelrennen was started 4 years ago. If we counted correctly, this year must be the 72nd edition. The organisers are most ambitious to make this the most important summer event comparable to Le Mans... just like in the old days, when Caracciola, Nuvolari, von Brauchitz, Rosemeyer,  Lang and other heroes made their names immortal . So make a quick decision, jump in your Bentley and be part of it! Eifelrennen 2010 !
