Warren Henderson reports about last weekend: "What a wonderful day to be out on tour with the Central New Hampshire Model T Club, enjoying Steve and Debbie Sanborn's "Where’s The Beef Tour". We depart from Dunkin’ Donuts on Rte3A/South Main Street, Concord, NH a little after 9AM for a scenic drive through the New Hampshire countryside and let me tell you it doesn't get any better than driving the back roads of New Hampshire in your Model T! We were on our way to tour the Fox Country Smoke House in Canterbury, NH and then continue on a leisurely pace to the Yankee Farmers Market Buffalo Farm in Warner,NH. After eating our lunches everyone was forced to eat home baked desserts, and homemade ice cream (for those who couldn't make this tour, eat your hearts out). I would like to thank both Steve and Debbie for sponsoring a wonderful tour also to Steve for making hand turned ice cream and to Debbie for baking all those goodies." Warren Henderson.
PreWarCar may be a world-wide-webby, still we love to hear about regional events . Very soon you will hear more about two outrageous events which appear at the horizon. One we mentioned briefly some time ago is the staggering 55.000 mile (!) Model T around the world Tour planned by Dirk Regter form The Netherlands. The second is the slightly shorter but still outright sensational up and down the Americas Austin Seven Tour (from New York to Alaska and back onto Tierre del Fuego) planned by Guy Butcher from the United Kingdom. Both will start in 2012! Both are still tuning and preparing their cars for ultra long distance work. And both with the same goal to raise money for child charity.
