Of course, the great big Beaulieu Autojumble takes place in September since human memory. But there is a sister event, the Spring Autojumble, which takes place at the same venue and is going into its 25th year this year. In the organizer’s words, who promises over 1000 stands and stalls: “The Spring Autojumble is perfect for those with an existing project looking for parts, looking for your next project and of course motoring enthusiasts.” Isn’t that all of us?

What is your experience with the Spring version? Personally, we’ve been hearing that Beaulieu’ isn’t what it used to be since we first heard of the event many months ago. Yes. Prices are going up every year, perhaps even as if they were infected by the Venezuelan inflation. And, yes, all the best items have gone on the first day. Sure. But isn’t that something that goes for every long-running event? In that sense, it may even go for the Spring Autojumble after its 25th year…
