Benjafield’s 100 Race at the opening round of the VSCC Formula Vintage Season - Silverstone 2019
 
The opening round of the 2019 Formula Vintage Season will take place on the National Circuit of Silverstone over the weekend of 13th & 14th April, and forms part of a series of 6 rounds across race circuits such as, Donington Park and Brands Hatch. 

The action packed two day event builds upon the history of the traditional Spring Start Race Meeting and VSCC racing at Silverstone which dates back to April 1949 with the 2019 event marking the 70th Anniversary of this meeting.

Benjafield's 100 Race 
To celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Bentley Motors, Benjafield’s Racing Club supported by the VSCC are organising the 'Benjafield’s 100'- a race for Vintage Bentleys at the VSCC Formula Vintage meeting at Silverstone: 40 Vintage Bentleys will take to the track for a two driver, 50 minute race, that will be the highlight of Saturdays track activities.

"The largest number of Vintage Bentleys ever in a single race"

All the cars are road registered, and a large proportion will be driven to and from the track. There will also be a display of Team and other important pre-war racing Bentleys. This will be the largest number of Vintage Bentleys ever in a single race, with 3 litre, 4½ litre, 6½ litre and 8 litre cars registered to race, it is unlikely that there will be that many on track again for some considerable time.
