Remember the one off Röhr we showed the other day? Kenneth Brosk is restoring another rare bird: a 1934 Model "F", powered by the very rare 8-cylinder 3.3 liter engine designed by Dr. Porsche. For its day this Röhr was highly advanced with 12V electrics, independent suspension all around, hydraulic brakes and a fully synchronized 4-speed transmission with freewheel. The Gläser coachwork has a patented folding top without exterior landau irons. It’s a spring-loaded top that can be raised or lowered with one hand. Kenneth is still waiting for the new glass to be delivered, but aims to finish the restoration by early January 2010.
