Any motorcycle enthusiast around who can identify the bike? Or are there any lady enthusiasts around, who can identify the girl on the back?
The year 1932 is written on the back of this photograph so the girl should by now have passed the 100 years mark and should have changed to a 3 wheeler. We think it is a proud father with his daughter, based on the age difference and the lack of any physical connection between the two. The man trying to look like he is a tough biker and the girl a little bit uncomfortable.
At that moment, the bike was probably brand new, nowadays we are collecting this kind of old things (yes, we are all a bit mad). As always, it makes us think which bikes will be classics in 80 years. Will the modern Ducati's, Harleys and Yamaha's be just as popular by collectors in the year 2090 as we now like Indian, Harley or FN? We are not sure with all the electrical parts in the bikes if that is even possible, but who knows. We do know collectors who bought new bikes and put them in their private museum. We also know investors who bought new bikes, just because it was once owned by a famous actor and will be worth a lot in 20 years.
What do you think? And if you think 'yes', which bike would you like to keep?
