Amilcar left for Beijing! (update: arrived yesterday!)

We're sure you remember the Amilcar which returned from oblivion in Pakistan last May. Since then Shahzeb and friends have worked nearly day & night to restore the car within a few months! Owner Shahzeb says: "It has been a rollercoaster ride securing hard to find missing parts from across the world and completing the project in three months. Just to be in time to board the last ship to China that reaches China in time to do the custom clearance for the 2015 Classic Car Challenge China. In order being able to participate in the 4C Beijing-Shanghai. Finally we have loaded the car in the container for China, the latching and securing is being done as we speak."

We are eager to see the car pop up in Beijing. We would not be surprised if it is the first Amilcar ever to visit China. Yet this counts for most participating cars invited by PreWarCar. We'll show you the line up early October.
