Alfa Quadrifoglio plaque Mystery?

You may have seen this relief sculpture in our recent newsletter. Sender Daniel, who is an avid collector of badges as well as plaques, wonders if there is a connection with Alfa because of the clover leaf, it was designed by an artist named Greco and was realised by Bertoni in Milan, Italy.  Of course the four leaved clover is a symbol of luck to many people. But we also understand that Alfa's Quadrifoglio appeared first during the 1923 Targa Florio on the car of Ugo Sivocci. To be honest, we would be surprised if there is any connection. But hey, you never know...
