I turned the shaft rather slow with a spanner and it produces a crisp blue spark. Turning is smooth, no "strange" noises . Not butchered, nothing broken or cracked. Good breaker points. ..

A rare 'Dinner plate' 6 inch diameter 0-120 mph speedo for 8 litre Bentley or similar large sports specials or aero engined monsters. An original Jaeger 8 day car clock.  It is in original condition and full working order, however it has not been overhauled so no gurantees.  Reeded bezel is 95mm diameter and it would fit a dashboard hole of about 80mm diameter.  Buyer pays shipping cost.
