Very decorative 1950's French tin advertising the British bicycle chain company 'Brampton' and sold under licence in France. I had a collection of these which has slowly dwindled down to this last one. Lovely artwork which encapsulates cycling racing of that era with the Alps in the background. Some staining and signs of patina which adds to it..
A brass rumble type bell for a penny farthing bicycle. Hangs from the handlebars and 'Rumbles' while riding. Engraved: VICTORIA No.22. The strap is in fine condition with a brass buckle. - £55
Original French wood and brass / nickel plated bicycle grips. New old stock and never fitted. Made of hardwood and stained; dating from the 1920's. Worn and shop soiled, but fine for restoration. They have a screw-in wedge to tighten them onto the handlebars. For 7/8" (22mm) handlebars. I have two pairs of these. - £50/ pair.
A rare set of Edwardian or veteran bicycle / motorcycle handlebar grips. Celluloid cream ends with cork centres. Very old and grubby, but appear to have never been fitted. They are not an exact matching pair as one has slightly long celluloid ends. Marked on the cork where they had tape to bind them together for storage. But will be perfectly ok..
