A rare Veteran Penny Farthing Rear wheel. Bronze hub probably made by W. Bown. The wonderfully named ‘The Aeolus’. c. 1880 in date. The rim is very poor having suffered the perils of time. A pair of exceptionally rare Veteran Penny Farthing Front Hub Bearings. Similar to the Rudge type with single bolt fixing to the front fork blades. Probably made by W. Bown. The wonderfully named ‘The Aeolus’. c. 1880 in date. They have been re-nickel plated. Condition is good. Might need some fresh ball bearings, but roll well. Very scarce.
