Despite the coronavirus and isolation, our Bugatti (we call her Bugatka) wanted to meet her sisters very much and that is why she persuaded us to go to Litomyšl, Czechia for a weekend trip to the 4th memorial ride of Eliška and Čeňek Junek.

Thanks to the organizers, including the Veterán Klub Litomyšl, the Czech Bugatti Club, Jiří Flídr, Alena Jiříčková Tichá, Kuba Stauch and others the event was great.

Besides ‘ordinary’ cars such as BMW, Rolls Royce and Packard, we could meet exotic vehicles from Czech like Jawa, Aero, Zbrojovka, Wikov, Walter, Praga and a crème de la crème three-seater Böhmerland motorcycle! – of course Czech made.

Our Bugatka was appreciated, she got the first prize from among her three other sisters!

Now this is what I call a very laudable effort! Life has to get back to normal, if we want to preserve our lifestyle and continue to cherish our heritage. Of course, safety measures are warranted, as far as the now well-known risk groups (elderly people with pre-existing conditions) are concerned, but life has to go on for the vast majority of the people. Cheers to our Polish fellow enthusiasts!
