When Christmas is coming closer, we all are looking for a last-minute present and last weekend we visited a showroom that would definitely make us happy when one of these 'toys' would be under the Christmas tree.
We visited the showroom of Vintage & Prestige Classic Cars in Essex, Great Britain. After following the route-planner to the premises we weren't sure if we were in the right place. The neighbours of this successful high-class dealer weren't as classy as the cars that are advertised in their account but after we stepped in their upstairs showroom, we had a smile from ear to ear. The first car that caught our eye was the very impressive purple(!) Type 57 Bugatti. We have seen photos but it is worth seeing it in real life. The showroom is literally packed with Rolls Royces (among them more than one pre-WW1 Silver Ghost), Bentleys and two impressive veteran cars (a stunning 1903 Mors and a 1903 Thornycroft).
On the ground floor, the atmosphere is less classy but the cars definitely not. We talked to the detailer who polished all the cars with passion and he proudly told us about the noise of the 1969 Ferrari 400i Speciale that has more than 600 bhp! However, our favourite one down there was the 1926 Bentley 3 Litre with Vanden Plas style body. The car got some nice patina, wasn't polished (yet) and was standing on beaded edge tyres. Just as we like it!
We could go on about the cars in their showroom but if you haven't found the right Christmas present yet, we advise you to visit this prestige showroom.
