A Vinot et Deguingand Mystery? (UPDATE VI: more likely Austro Daimler )

We received this mystery photo from Kit Foster. Who received the photo from a Wayne Graefen in Texas, who received it from a friend in Poland. So far the car has not been identified. But Kit is optimistic and has vague reason to believe it may be a Vinot & Deguingand. To be honest, we have not the slightest idea . To help you get a little inspiration, check this boulevard of old mostly French advertising themes.

Prewar Vinots favoured RAF style hubs, then went to disc style wheels post war as the alternative. This car seems to have a later Rudge style. The radiator is not like my VD (Model AO) either, and in vintage years the same shape was kept which is a lot broader (Model BO).
I would think the car is more like an early '20's Austro-Daimler especially given the ornate casting near the radiator filler. Nice car though.

Agree with Josef and Jak. Radiator looks very much like a twenties Austro Daimler. Moreover if you look closely at the radiator script it looks very similar to that on the front on image of the 1927 Austro Daimler ADM 19/100 at supercars.net

These cars started out as Gladiator, and had various owners until V&D took over.

It is very similar to a 1914 V&D car that I found on the Manchester historic clubs website

The Cowl is slightly different so maybe a different year.

For me the radiator surround looks a lot like French Talbot (built in Surresnes)Look at the 3 Talbot advertisements in your own link of today. Curved front axle suits as well.

Radiator looks a lot like an Austro Daimler. Also the curved front axle. BUT no front brakes. Post WW1 - early 20s?
