The photo comes from an advert of a Dutch dealer for Darracq. They advertised it as the French Talbot and guaranteed that every mile would be a joy to drive. Not because of its easy Wilson pre-selector, but because of its formidable road-holding that assured you a ‘fresh’ arrival, even after the longest trip. All very interesting information, but we just love this ad for its hidden promises… winning the Concours d’Elegance is one of them! (advert courtesy Conam)
