A quick stop before the weekend begins

  • A quick stop before the weekend begins

The weekend is almost there, you might just get ready to hit the road and start your car. Modern or classic, like the driver of this Auburn. Well, this driver/ passenger was probably too busy fixing the last things in the office and forgot to go to the loo there. But it makes a great picture!

This fantastic photo was sent in by our German friend Thomas Ulrich. If you have a lovely/ interesting Friday lady photo, please let us know.

Have a good weekend.

1929 Auburn 8-120 Phaeton. Chrome front bumper bar indicating top of the range model. More expensive new than the Boattail Speedster. I am currently restoring the exact same model Auburn.

That poor woman. If only she'd known that 87 years later thousands of men throughout Europe and beyond would be looking at her squatting at the side of the road, she'd have thought twice about drinking that second cup of coffee! (Nice looking Aubum!)

Whether this AUBURN has the distinctive fender crossbar for Headlight is somewhat mysterious?
