A Mystery car in Tasmania, Australia
We hope you all had a good weekend. On this Monday the 1st of June a new Mystery! This picture was taken in northern Tasmania, Australia. Jeremy Morris asked us to help him identify the car in the picture. “My initial thoughts were that it is an Alvis 10/30 or 11/40, given the radiator profile and wheel dust caps. But I am not sure if they ever had centre-lock wire wheels” is what he wrote to us.
Is there anyone who can tell us more about the PreWarCar in the picture? Please comment below. Your help will be much appreciated.

Looks a lot like the radiator side profile of a mid teens 4 cyl Peugeot, matches my 1914 at least, and also the angle of the steering column......

I think it's a Veteran Damiler Roadster, if you zoom in on the radiator top. It's not smooth and the Damiler has a ribbed top.

My first thought is that the car is a small Minerva given the unusual curve of the radiator which continues through the bonnet. However, my knowledge of Minervas is limited so I can't offer any more information or proof.

In my opinion, the car is to small even for the smallest Minerva on offer in the 1920s (the 15 CV). Also, it lacks the lateral louvres in the engine hood and the cantilever springs which appear to have been a feature of this model.
