A Micro Roadster Mystery (UPDATE: no Aero)

Mikolay Racki found this car in the barn of a polish car collector who recently died.

"It measures about 1.5 meter long. Check details like rear axle, frame constructions, springs, steering, four drum brakes etc. Check details like rear axle, frame constructions, springs, steering, four drum brakes etc. Can you tell me what it was, who made it, what years, where can I find some info about it ? Like which engine was used?"

Lots of questions and little to go on with this micro car. Probably the radiator (aircooled car?), the pressed steel wheels and suspension are giving the best clues.

Yes it is only 1.5m.

I think it is a toy car too, but I want to know his history, details. I want to know which "royal family" bought him :)

Yes it has only 1,5m.

I can agree that is is a toy car or car made on some kind of industrial show. But is it a scale copy?

My first thought ware Fiat 508 spider - rare car prduced in Poland, but there are too many similar cars.

Mikolaj, Is it really only 1.5 metres long? I don't know why but to me it seems to have the 'feel' of early nineteen thirties Japanese.

I am still looking to what it can be. If you will have any other clues etc. Please contact with me. I would like to rebuild it, but don't know where to start.

Seems to me a very rare RollFix Dreirad, there are only 2 surviving.

editor: did 'Dreirad'(Threewheeler) also make four wheeled cars?

Could be an early Aero with wheels of the later Types.
I hope to find out.
