A Lady's Showroom Mystery (update: Custom Model T, Gray or Wolverine?)

Nice showroom situation or is it a car mall?  Two ladies discussing the color scheme of their mid-twenties Roadster while the salesman is practising patience. Is it REO or Dodge like suggested by the writing on the wall behing the car. The radiator and badge looks like REO but not convincing. The partially blocked radiator top may be the give-away.

The featured car is a 1926 or 1927, probably 1926, Model T Ford, fitted with I think, a Mercury speedster body.

Looks to me a ford model T based car brand with a raised radiatorshell (see the fixed plate in top of radiator) and custom body.

I think it is a "Wolverine",.... the cheap mark from "REO"

Looks like a Ford T with special body and radiator shell to give a higher bonnet line. Transverse front spring suggests this.

I think that's her father - not happy in the choice of a nice sedate machine for his daughter. Anyone notice the loss of air in the front wheels? Someone's been kicking the tires a bit much....

I think the transverse front spring is telling us something...

Not Dodge not Reo, but Ford Model T with custom body. Now, the question is, by which of the hundreds of custom body makers? Bub, Paco, Speedway, Morton & Brett?
